Milhoja

Milhojas pastry is a delicious and popular dessert in Latin America that is prepared with sheets of puff pastry. It's made of three layers of puff pastry separated by layers of Chantilly cream, frosting or dulce de leche. The image you see ontop is made with frosting and strawberries. But, if you want it with a different fruit or more than one fruit, we can do that. We want our guest to be able to experience the best and great quailty ecuadorian dessert they want.

Our family has had our fair share of milhoja from many different bakeries but, none of them compare to 'Ecuadorian Slice' milhoja's. Our first time here was very pleasant and the workers were super nice to us as well. This will most definitely be our spot to get our treats as they’re not overly sweet like some other places we have tried. Not only was the milhoja super soft but they weren’t dry either! 10/10 will recommend to all my friends/fellow sweets lovers!

This delicious dessert goes perfect with a cappuccino or a regular cup of coffee. This pastry consists of layers and layers of lite, flaky pastry. So it it's not to sweet or to plain when it has layers of Chantilly cream, frosting or dulce de leche. The name means a thousand leaves and is reflected in the layers and layers of thin pastry making up this dessert. Even though this is a French dessert, it’s very common in Ecuador bakeries and is amazing!

Here in 'Ecuadorian Slice' every we make is made here and fresh. The ducle de leche, Chantilly cream, frosting, and the puff pastery is homemade. We always want the best for our guest because they are like a second family to us.
