Flan

Flan is one of those desserts that was a must to have on the dessert menu when 'Ecuadorian Slice' opened. My mother would always make flan for me on my birthday, and the reason I love it so much is because it's not too sweet compared to a cake you will go by.

I had the flan for dessert and I loved it. I would give it a 100 out out 10, it was that amazing. I had to order one to go because I wanted to eat it the nex day for breakfast. If you ever come to 'Ecuadorian Slice' I'm telling this is something that you should try after eating one of their meals that they cook here.

Above you can see one of our customers review of our flan, and this dessert is actually our top selling dessert here in the restaurant. The recipe of this dish is actually my mothers' recipe and our pastery chef, Anabel Castro, is the one who makes all the desserts here. As the owner of this restaurant I recomend everyone who comes here to try the flan. This dish consist of eggs, sweetemed condensed milk, evaporated milk, and caramelized sugar.

If you don't want a simple flan we also have some with differnt flavors like cococnut flan with orange carmel.This coconut flan is made with grated coconut, coconut milk, eggs, milk, and sugar, and has an orange caramel. We even have pineapple flan, passion fruit flan, pumkin flan, and orange flan. So if you are not in the mood for a simple flan there are many other flavors for you to try.
