Students will create a Color Text Portrait using the shadows, midtones, layer fill, and layer masks of an image. Students will learn to merge layers, and use the character box to adjust the spacing of the words. Students will use the Rectangle Marque Tool to create a custom brush with words. Students will use multiple fonts in separate layers. Students will use the foreground layer to brush over the image to see the text more predominantly. Students will apply a layer style of their choice to the image and words. The final product will be a colorful picture surrounded by multiple texts written with Custom brushes in Photoshop.
Note: Please use a new Photoshop Document when creating custom brushes, and name them. Be sure to use the character box with multiple fonts to make the image look stylish. The Rectangular Marque tool is used to highlight the words to make the Custom Photoshop Brush.
