The Taste of the Island is a restaurant/bar for family and friends. You can come eat at anytime and enjoy your time here!.
Tapas are everyday. You can enjoy music and eat with your friends. There is a variation of tapas in our menu. So enjoy everything!
Brunch time is always around 11 am to 3 pm. There is a different menus during this time but you could still eat our main dishes.
There is live music every thursday, friday, saturday and sunday. You could enjoy it and get some of our tapas menu. Live Music starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.

María Marte is a Dominican chef who works in Spain. She is the only female chef in Madrid with two Michelin stars
Inés Páez Nin, Chef Tita, is a renowned Dominican chef who has been named the "Ambassador of the New Dominican Cuisine"
David Rios is a very well know Bartender who moved to NYC two years ago. He is now working with us. In 2013 he was named the world's best bartender.
Carla is a Hostess and Servent here in The Taste of the Island. She is very hardworking and has been here for 2 years already.
Carlos is the newest member in this restaurant and he is amazing. He comes from PA and he has the best attitude a server could have.
Michael is the longest in this restaurant. He has been working with us for 6 years and everyone has good comments about him. He makes this restaurant look great.
